Tenwek Hospital

Bomet, Kenya

This 260-bed Christian mission hospital serves an area population of 800,000 people with primary healthcare and the surgery center for the region of more than 8.5 million people. Every year, more than 14,000 inpatients and 120,000 outpatients are treated at Tenwek. The hospital offers dental care, HIV follow-up, intestinal illness and injury services and is a training center for medical professionals. Msaada provided design services for several buildings on the campus, both new and renovation, including maternity wards, outpatient facilities, laboratories and nursing facilities with dormitories.
